BlackBerry originally pushed back the release of its BlackBerry Messenger app after the Android version leaked in September, but now the struggling company has released BBM for both iOS and Android.
Before you begin jumping for joy, however, BlackBerry announced that there would be a waiting list in order to allay concerns over a surge of users gaining access to BBM at the same time.
“We are focused on moving millions of customers through the line as fast as possible.” – BlackBerry
Via its Twitter account, BlackBerry will deliver updates as to how fast the waiting list is going. While the BBM app is downloadable for iOS and Android, it’s likely going to be a while before you can actually use it.
