Dark Souls II is now available in both Europe and Australasia for the PS3 and 360.
Released yesterday, the brutal sequel to the popular first title in the franchise, Dark Souls, takes place in the same world as the previous, although the storyline is said to be unrelated.
Speaking about the game, Namco Bandai Marketing Director, Mathieu Piau says: “FromSoftware really went the extra mile with Dark Souls II in order to make it the legitimate heir to Dark Souls, which was quite a challenge.”
He also added, “No other game can quite compete with the Dark Souls franchise when it comes to delivering a profound yet exhilarating gaming experience! As one of the most awaited games this year, Dark Souls II promises an immensely rewarding adventure for those prepared to Go Beyond Death.”
The PC version of the game is scheduled for release later next month on the 25th.
