You demanded it and now Square Enix is finally, FINALLY making it. Final Fantasy VII’s now officially being remade – and from the ground-up graphically by all accounts.
Announced at Sony’s E3 conference tonight, the ridiculously acclaimed JRPG will be coming “first to Playstation 4.” When that will be or to what other platforms exactly we don’t know quite yet, but we’ll no doubt be hearing more from Square in the coming months about this surprising development.
In the meantime, feast your eyes on the reveal trailer below, complete with the game’s remade graphics and all.
Earlier this year, Square Enix announced that it would be porting the original 1997 version of the game onto the PS4. It looks like you might have some more options on how you like your Final Fantasy VII now.
