Have you lived through the outlandish simulator craze? Games like Job Simulator and Goat Simulator not enough to fill your needs? Those with a soft spot for bees might want to check out Bee Simulator. The game is developed by Varsav Game Studios with Bigben Interactive acting as publisher.
It’s out now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch with a $39.99 MSRP. The PC version is exclusive to the Epic Games Store for a year.
VARSAV Game Studios’ CEO and Co-Founder, Łukasz Rosiński, hopes Bee Simulator prompts a change in the way the general populace views the buzzing, pollinating insects. It’s meant to educate. Łukasz Rosiński said, “We are delighted to have the chance to work with an experienced publisher like BIGBEN for the launch of Bee Simulator. We genuinely believe Bee Simulator offers a unique experience that combines sim gaming with educational elements. The game is first and foremost all about fun because players assume the role of a bee, but users can also learn more about the relationship between bees and nature. This could even prompt them to change their views on the balance between work, life and the environment”
VARSAV Game Studios’ team consists of 30 young artists and creators with a passion for the animal kingdom. People on the team have come from the likes of Bloober Team and Flying Wild Hog. Although this is VARSAV’S first video game release, they have multiple projects in the pipeline. These range from AR and VR games across PC and mobile in addition to more traditional games. Many future VARSAV projects plan to focus on the animal world.
