Just over two months after the PC and mobile releases, console players can now get their hands on Bridge Constructor Portal. This spin-off of both the Portal and Bridge Constructor franchises takes the classic Bridge Constructor formula of building bridges with proper structural support while integrating Portal‘s specific conceits. The game is sold at an MSRP of $14.99. For the first two weeks, Xbox One owners will get a free copy of the original Bridge Constructor along with their Bridge Constructor Portal purchase.
In Bridge Constructor Portal, you enter the Aperture Science Enrichment Center as an employee for Aperture Science’s test lab. Your job is to build ramps, bridges, slides, etc… to safely navigate the Bendies (Portal‘s stick figures) across 60 test chambers. Because this is Bridge Constructor PORTAL, the game uses many of Portal‘s gadgets and mainstays – repulsion gel, propulsion gel, the portals themselves, cubes, switch puzzles, sentry turrets, and the list goes on. GLaDOS, voiced by original actress Ellen McLain, guides you through the tutorial.
