Burnout Paradise Remastered has been out for a while on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Its existence has led to the question of whether it would be available on the Nintendo Switch. Well, previously at BagoGames, we’ve actually covered the Switch version’s announcement. And now, the game has received an official release date from publisher Electronic Arts.
In comparison to the PS4, Xbox One and PC release, it’s a bit over two years between the version releases, the former three releasing in March 2018. In contrast, the upcoming Nintendo Switch version is releasing on June 19th.
Pricing and Release Information
Burnout Paradise Remastered also received pricing information about its upcoming releases. The game is being sold at $49.99 before tax on Nintendo Switch. The game’s package includes the game and all of the DLC of the original 2008 release.
This includes the base game, all eight DLC packs, and enhanced features and graphics. The DLC adds new races, time trial challenges, and thirty new vehicles for players to race and crash through Paradise City.
Along with all the DLC, the Switch version packs some additional features, and unique ones as well. The game’s been fully optimized for the platform, running at a consistent 60 frames per second with redesigned textures. Another neat feature is found when playing handheld, as the player can use pinch and pull map controls like a smartphone’s zoom.
Burnout Paradise Remastered releases June 19th on Nintendo Switch, and is already out on PS4, Xbox One and PC. You can view more information for the game and pre-order it here.
