In early June, Call of Duty: Ghosts will receive its third DLC pack entitled Invasion. As per the agreement with Activision and Microsoft, Xbox One and Xbox 360 players will receive these maps before PlayStation and PC customers.
With this third pack, players will get their hands on four new multiplayer maps, which range from small to medium maps. The names of these maps are Departed, Pharoh, Mutiny, and Favela. Departed takes place in a rural Mexican town during the celebration of Day of the Dead. Pharoh is set at an abandoned archaeological dig site in Egypt. Mutiny will take players to a pirate hideout on a remote island in the Caribbean. Making a return from Call of Duty 2: Modern Warfare, Favela is a fan-favorite map set in a Brazilian shanty town.
As expected, the third installment of the Extinction storyline titled “Episode 3: Awakening” is the last piece of the Invasion pack. In the third story, players, now armed with hi-tech weapons, will descend below the Earth’s surface to confront the aliens who are controlling the aliens above ground.
The “Invasion” DLC pack will arrive on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 on June 3. For those with the Call of Duty: Ghosts Season Pass, these maps are included with the pass. If you do not own the Season Pass, this DLC Pack will cost $14.99. One more DLC pack for Call of Duty: Ghosts will be released later this year.
