While that’s great news, western players will be left wondering when it’ll come to their region.

The third-person survival horror game was first released for PC on September 17. The game is planned for release on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the west, but publishers Destructive Creations, All in! Games and developer Invader Studios have yet to announce an official release date.
Daymare: 1998 Japan Release Date on PS4
As for Daymare: 1998 in Japan, the PS4 version will be distributed both physically and digitally. The distribution of the game will be handled by DMM Games and players will have to pay 4,378 yen, according to these retail listings.
In other words, players from Japan will be able to hop on a journey that’s inspired by classic Resident Evil. Anything can happen when your daymares become real. Like having extremely scarce items, tank controls, and many more inconveniences that only exist to increase the fear factor. Will this be an experience that satiates horror enthusiasts?
