De Blob 2 Brings the Color Revolution to PS4 and Xbox One

If for some reason you have not had the opportunity to play de Blob 2 yet, THQ Nordic is giving you another chance to fix that. After being released on Nintendo Wii, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC, the platforming title will make its way to current-generation consoles with a launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It is set to release on February 27th, 2018. You can watch a new trailer for the game above.

For those who haven’t played de Blob 2 before, you join the Color Underground and help to stop Comrade Black’s crusade against color. He’s wiping colors from all over Prisma City and its up to you to bring color back to the world. The game employs puzzle mechanics in its platforming genre to maneuver throughout its levels. Speaking of which, the new versions of the game will include 12 new levels and new power-ups for those who have already played the game, or for extra value if you’ve never been able to play it. The game also includes split-screen co-op and multiplayer.

Blitworks is doing the port for de Blob 2 who have previously worked on ports of FezSpelunky and Bastion. Are you excited to play de Blob 2 on the current generation of consoles? Or if you have played it before, would you recommend it? Let us know in the comments below.
