Konami has announced that Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will receive two new DLC packs in April.
An action-focused spin-off of the Metal Gear Solid series, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance was developed by Platinum Games (Bayonetta) and stars cyborg ninja Raiden. The game has already received DLC in the form of the VR Missions pack, but the two new pieces of DLC will be more story-focused.
The first DLC pack, titled Jetstream, is a side story featuring Sam as a playable character, while the second pack, titled Blade Wolf, stars character Blade Wolf in his own side story. According to a press release, both pieces of DLC will feature “multiple hours of gameplay including unique abilities and characteristics for each character, while also expanding on each of their storylines and origins.”
Jetstream and Blade Wolf are scheduled for release in April for both the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game, and are priced at $6.99 each.
