A new patch for God Eater 3 has become available for players worldwide. The version 2.30 update for God Eater 3 will launch on January 16, 2020. The latest patch for the game was announced during the latest God Eater official broadcast. So, remember to mark your calendar already because this patch is going to come packed with content!
What’s in God Eater 3 Version 2.30?
A new episode for “Traversing the Past” will be added to the game! Several episodes will be released over time, Version 2.40 will add the Keith Pennywort and Neal Pennywort episodes. Version 2.50 will add the Ein episode. This episode will be centered around Phym. At the time of writing, there’s no information about Versions 2.40 and 2.50. However, you can stay tuned with us and learn about new developments as they come!
Furthermore, players should look forward to the addition of new background music to the Jukebox. Finally, there’s a new addition in the form of swimsuit costumes. It’s not an anime game without swimsuit costumes, after all. You can check them out here:

Additional Balance Changes
Furthermore, the update will also bring several balance adjustments. If you’re curious, here’s the patch notes for you to check out.
- Adjusted GAP acquisition method: GAP can be infinitely re-acquired through the special mission “Urgent: Snack Collection.”
- Adjusted the amount of stamina consumed for Dive: “Buckler: 20 –> 12,” “Shield: 25 –> 15,” and “Tower Shield: 30 –> 18.”
- Guard range expansion skill(s) added
- Adjusted Link Burst bullets to pierce through everything, as well as increased homing performance.
- “Bullet [Heal]” and “Radiation Bullet [Heal]” are now available for all guns (purchasable bullets added).
Finally, there are some minor additions made to the game. For one, airborne enemies have been added to Preview Mode. Not only that, but the “Wait” function has been added to Phym. Lastly, Bandai Namco added a function to copy another player’s custom bullet via their Avatar Card.
