PlayStation fans, the lineup for March 2018 Free PS Plus games has been announced. Six games will be available on the three major PlayStation platforms, however, changes are coming to the service next year. First up, the free games. For PlayStation 4 users, Bloodborne will be free to add as well as Ratchet and Clank.
PS3 users will have the chance to add Legend of Kay and Mighty No. 9 to their digital libraries. Mighty No. 9 will also be available to PS4 users via Cross-Buy. For PS Vita users Claire: Extended Cut and Bombing Busters is free to pick up. Both of these titles are also available to PS4 users via Cross-Buy as well.
As an added bonus, starting March 13 to April 10, a Dungeon Defenders PS Plus Pack is available for Dungeon Defenders II. This pack will include 4 Shadow Costumes, 1 Million in gold, 5 Campaign Shard Packs, 5 Defender Packs, and a Ninja Gato Pet.
Now for the bad news… Starting next year, the PS Plus free games program will no longer be available for PS3 and PS Vita users. Starting March 8, 2019, the program will only be available for PlayStation 4 users only. This will be the last year PS3 and PS Vita games will be given out for free under the program. The good news is that if you are a PS Plus member, you will get to keep the games you downloaded as long as you are a PS Plus member.
No other changes have been announced to the program other than that. PS Plus members will still keep other benefits such as their online storage and exclusive discounts for the PS Store.
Finally, these games will be available Tuesday, March 6. You have until then to download February’s free PS Plus games.
