Mario Kart 8 is sweeping the Nintendo community due to the beauty of HD kart racing and the brand new anti-gravitational ability. Mario Kart racers have even more reason to play with the DLC packages that will be available for purchase. The first DLC includes Link as a playable racer. The second package won’t be available till May 2015 and will have the Villager and Isabelle from Animal Crossing as racers.
Each DLC packs will feature three new characters, 4 new vehicles, and 8 new-to-Mario-Kart-8 courses. If purchasing both packages at once the price will be $11.99. And if you decide to only buy one package the cost will be $7.99 in the U.S.
The Legend of Zelda package has Link, Tanooki Mario and Cat Peach as characters, the Blue Falcon and 3 mystery vehicles, 8 new tracks and 2 cups.
The Animal Crossing package includes the Villager, Isabelle and Dry Bower, 4 unknown vehicles, 8 tracks and 2 cups.
Each DLC requires a full 1 GB free space on the Wii U. Both packages are able to be bought now. And by purchasing the packs now, individually or as a bundle, you will be given 8 new colors for Yoshi and Shy Guy. The Mario Kart 8 DLC packages are for sale today.
