In what is an absolutely puzzling but kind of awesome marketing move, Ubisoft has chosen to promote their upcoming FPS/Hallucinatory game Far Cry 3 by giving away a free Minecraft map and texture pack.
The free pack will be downloadable for PC on October 26, and will feature Far Cry 3 locations and characters, including Vaas, Jason, and Citra.
I can’t say I completely understand this marketing move since the two games are vastly different, but that doesn’t mean I won’t still hunt down Vaas’ blocky doppelganger and put a diamond sword in his neck.
