The improved version of Resident Evil 5 will launch on June 28 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, according to the Xbox Store where the price was leaked and then later confirmed by Capcom.
The digitally released game will include all the expansions that came with the PS3 and Xbox 360 originals: Lost in Nightmares and Desperate Escape. As for additional content, Resident Evil 5‘s re-release will have the Mercenaries United mode and its more difficult No Mercy variant, all costume packs, and all Versus Modes.
Capcom announced their decision to re-release Resident Evil 4, 5, and 6 as digital downloads, in reverse chronological order, back in February. All games will cost $19.99 and though Capcom has been tight-lipped on visual improvements, the latest release will run at 1080p with an improved frame rate.
