Retrovibe has just wished themselves into existence in Warsaw, Poland. This new developers has big plans for fans of all things retro. Retrovibe‘s starting line up has five titles that will be their beginning slate in 2021/2022. These titles are as follows, Project Warlock II, The Looter, B.I.O.T.A., Janosik 2 and Shardpunk: Verminfall. All of these titles will be released on console, GOG and Steam in the near future.
Michal Kiciński, the co-founder of CD Projekt Red, joins Michał Affelski, and Krzysztof Papliński, two founders of the indie publisher gamingcompany are tackling this new company. Kiciński says of his co-founders,
I’ve known the gamingcompany guys for years and I like their approach to the job. I like retro games, the kind I played when I was a teenager. These are relatively small projects filled with love and passion – and that struck a chord with me
For fans of new retro type games this is great news, having the big name of Michal Kiciński involved really gives Retrovibe the name recognition they may need to gain a foothold in the market. Even with the backlash from Cyberpunk 2077, I think Kiciński brings a lot to this equation.
