Additional Details
This new sequel will focus on the next Spider-Man, Miles Morales, as he takes his turn fighting crime and spinning webs in the large and open New York City.
As most fans would know, Miles appeared in the earlier Spider-Man game as a playable character, while short-lived, it was enough to introduce him and set up the sequel we were shown today. The new trailer shown shows us some new gameplay aspects, and some of Mile’s Spidey moves, such as his electric venom blasts and stealth camouflage.
We were also shown some other features like the dynamic weather changes, day and night cycle, and some environmental designs not seen in the previous game.
While we don’t know much about the Spider-Man PS5 Sequel for now, what we do know are some rumors which suggest it featuring improved and sophisticated web-slinging, combat, and exploration, alongside the appearance of several new villains, lifted straight from the comics.
We also know the earlier title Spider-Man PS4, will be among the first backward compatible games to run on the PS5. Spider-Man: Miles Morales will release on the PlayStation 5 holiday 2020 and will most likely be a launch title for the system.
