It was confirmed this morning that you’re now able to register to experience the DARK SOULS II beta and provide your valuable feedback on the network to the From Software teams.
The first Beta round for North America and Europe/Australasia will begin on 12th October and the second round will begin on 27th October. To register all you need to do is pop onto the PSN store and download the registration ticket to be entered. Once entered you’ll be checked to see if you fit a certain criteria, if the boot fits you’ll be contacted with a closed beta code on either the first or second round of tests.

14 Minutes of Watch_Dogs Gameplay
I feel like there has been a lot of gameplay videos for Watch_Dogs. Is that just me? It can’t be.
Anyway, if you’re not done watching Watch_Dogs gameplay before it releases in November, here’s yet another gameplay video for you to consume. This video shows off more of the game’s open-world gameplay, multiplayer and Aiden taking revenge on a dude.

Xbox One Can Support Up to Eight Controllers
It would seem that the Xbox One can support up to eight controllers at one time, according to an update to the controller’s product page.
For comparison, the Xbox 360 can support up to four controllers, while the PlayStation 3 can support seven. It is currently unknown how many the PlayStation 4 will support.
I doubt that Xbox One games will support eight-player local co-op (imagine N+ with that!), as I’m more inclined to believe that this is for situations where four people are playing, then, when they’re done, players 3 and 4 can drop out so that players 5 and 6 can jump in on the fun. Some people prefer to play with their own controllers, so this could eliminate the small issue where players are swapping out with each other and passing off controllers. Or maybe it’s not that and I’m making up problems!

Pokémon X and Y Details From Nintendo Direct
Quite a number of details regarding Pokémon X and Y were given during the Pokémon themed Nintendo Direct earlier today. If you’re a Pokémon fan, I think it’s safe to say both Nintendo and Game Freak have you covered.
-Pokémon Bank – A new service created to give you even more storage for your Pokémon, Pokémon Bank will allow players to store up to 3,000 Pokémon on the internet (or cloud). This 3DS app will support Pokémon Black, White, Black 2 and White 2. There is a small annual fee tied to the bank that is said to support maintenance of the server.
-Poké Transporter – This app will make transferring Pokémon from Black, White, Black 2 and White 2 easier, but cannot be downloaded without downloading the Pokémon Bank first. This two apps together allows players to move Pokémon from the aforementioned games to the Pokémon Bank, then to your copy of Pokémon X and Y.

Xbox One Launching On November 22nd
Microsoft has finally revealed the release date of the Xbox One, and the date may seem a bit familiar. The Xbox One will launch on November 22nd, the same day the Xbox 360 launched in 2005.
The system will launch in 13 territories, including Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, UK, and USA. More are set to get the system in 2014.
Additionally, more Day One versions of the Xbox One are now available for pre-order, so you still have a chance to get that special achievement.
