Ace Attorney 5 Heading for 3DS
Oh yes, it’s confirmed. Phoenix Wright, with his pointy finger of justice, will be heading to 3DS consoles, in Ace Attorney 5! Not only that, Layton vs Ace Attorney is said to be coming out sometime later this year too.

Playstation Vita Sales Skyrocket in Japan
The sale of Sony’s newest handheld, the PlayStation Vita, really took off in Japan following the release of Sega’s Hatsune Miku Project Diva F. Sega’s newest rhythm game from sold 158,009 units during its first week while Vita hardware sales more than quadrupled to 46,877 units.

Nintendo Achieve Another Guiness World Record
Kirby helps to set another Guiness World Record for gaming heavyweights, Nintendo.
In celebration of the 20th Anniversary of Kirby, Nintendo have set out to break a Guiness World Record. Strangely enough, they’ve decided not to break a gaming related record though.

Ubisoft Ditches DRM Requirement
Ubsioft’s always-on DRM (digital rights management) requirement for PC titles, has been given the ol’ heave ho! DRM, which required users constantly be connected to the internet in order to start games and play them, has always been a source of irritation for gamers. Losing your connection during play meant you were no longer able to continue and any unsaved data would be lost. Now, all that is necessary is a one-off activation online in order to play.

Rumor: Wii U Gets Release Date
The Nintendo of America’s Wii U event crawls ever closer and we are getting more and more rumors about the Wii U.
Amazon, Newegg and Blockbuster seem to have a listing for a November 11th launch. Oddly enough, there seem to be three different SKUs that will be available. No further details about the different SKUs were given though, except for the price range from $249.99 to $349.99.
