As of today, NACON’s RIG PRO Compact can now be purchased in North America! If you feel like going to your local Best Buy you can get it in store. Pandemic still scaring you? Then you can get it online at Wal-Mart, Target and GameStop for 49.99 (USD). If you’re in Canada you can only get the controller at Wal-Mart, I don’t know if our neighbors to the North are still imprisoned in their homes, but if you can get one it’ll cost you 79.96 (CAN).
This is the first controller of its type to include Dolby Atmos for the headphones. This means theatre type sound in your headphones which will immerse you in the game and hopefully get you that small advantage when online. If you can hear your enemies coming then you’ll be able to hear their death cries when you knife them. The controller will also come in black or white, I’ve never understood why you would a white controller it has to show all the Doritos stains and the like.
Peter Petrides, the RIG VP of Global Sales & Marketing says,
We are very excited to launch a product suited to gamers who prefer and play better using a controller with a smaller form factor. This coupled with the unparalleled levels of customization and Dolby Atmos for headphones makes the PRO Compact a powerful tool for any competitive gamer.
Almost makes me wish I was a competitive gamer, but I get beaten on Halo 5 by a bunch of preschoolers. So what does everyone think? Will you be picking this up when you see it?
