Daum Games has announced that the Beta testing for the much-anticipated MMORPG, Black Desert Online, will begin on the 16th of December and last until the 22nd of the same month.
Much like with the Alpha testing, Beta players will be able to choose from the Wizard, Warrior, Sorceress, Berserker, and Ranger classes. Additionally, they are very happy to announce that the popular Tamer class will also be included in the list of playable classes when the Beta rolls around.
The Tamer can call upon the help of Heilang, the divine beast, to aid them in battle, but can also go solo and unleash lethal combo-attacks with the help of divine forces.
Also in Black Desert Online, the Calpheon region, which includes its major city of the same name, will make its debut in the Beta. The region is a mostly rural area, and one of Black Desert Online’s most expansive, promising landscapes just waiting to be explored.
Based on the community feedback after the Alpha testing, Black Desert Online has had many improvements and additions included. Some of these include:
– 30 New skin tones, 40 new hair colors, new beard styles, as well as a bald option included for male characters
– An improved balance of character classes
– Improved weather cycles which will now include darker and occasionally stormy nights
– An adjustment to HP Potions in order to improve PvP challenges
– Fully localized English text
Black Desert Online is an open-world MMORPG sporting next-gen visuals, skill-based combat, and some of the most in-depth character customization features on the market. In addition, the game has a beautifully designed world that’s as expansive as it is alive, and with PvP modes galore.
Some of the PvP modes in Black Desert Online will include an arena mode, guilds vs guild, node wars, castle siege, and more.
Again, Beta testing will begin on the 16th of December, and the game is available now for pre-order on the official website.
