Esper 1 and 2 was released today together as part of Esper: The Collection. This will be the first time to experience Esper 1 on the Oculus Rift.
Previously released onto the Samsung Gear, Esper is a puzzle game set in the paranoia cold-war days of 1975. You are discovered to have extra-sensory abilities. To prove you are not a threat, you must complete tests using your newly-discovered telekenetic powers.
Esper 2 would later expand on it. Not only was it released onto the Oculus Rift but it also lets you travel beyond the lab and across the world, solving puzzles with your mind. In addition, Esper 2 broaden the voice acting cast as Esper’s Eric Meyers was joined by famed voice actors Sean Pertwee, Lara Pulver and Nick Frost.
Owners of Esper 2 will automatically have their games upgraded to Esper: The Collection. According to Coatsink, this is because Esper: The Collection is intended to replace Esper 2 in the Oculus store.
If, however, you have an Oculus Rift and/or Gear VR and have yet to pick up Esper: The Collection, we have a competition rolling where you can win a copy of it.
Congratulations to Roger Marcante for winning Esper: The Collection! https://twitter.com/Bifrostr
