You may remember last year we reviewed the Nacon Pro Compact Controller and found it absolutely fantastic, and now Nacon have released two new colour variants of the controller: Camo Green and Camo Grey. Nacon were nice enough to send me the Camo Grey controller for a hands on experience. Read this article if you want to learn how do i connect a bluetooth speaker to xbox.
Now to note, this controller is no different to the original in terms of features, it’s just a design change, adding a camo effect onto the front surface of the Pro Compact. I imagine the design is slightly unique per controller. When I originally saw the images you see below, the pattern seems rather busy, but the controller in real life, as per the photo above, the camo is larger and actually looks fantastic. The surface is super smooth to the touch as Nacon is always high quality, and stands out from the standard solid colours of other controllers. As before, the shape is very comfortable to hold and having customizable thumbsticks means you can really make the controller personalised just for you.
It’s still wired, so if you can’t stand a wired controller and absolutely have to have wireless, then maybe this isn’t for you, but try not to let that put you off. The cable is long enough for any sized room and you can plug it into any Xbox or PC without having to worry about connecting it up when changing device. It’s perfect using it for an Xbox One with a good quality headset plugged in to utilise Dobly Atmos that is built in. You can currently get the Pro Compact Controller in Camo Grey or Camo Green (see pictures below) at Argos in the UK for £49.99 or direct from Nacon in the US for $54.90.
