Four new trailers have been released by Square Enix today for Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness.
First up is the Depth of Gameplay trailer. This, alongside a commentary, showcases the game systems, which include crafting, side-quests, specialties, character interaction, and even emotes.
Second, is the Trei’kur World Walkthrough, which highlights a few locations from the game and Motoi Sakuraba’s soundtrack. Not much information was given within this trailer, but Square Enix gave a description on the world of Trei’kur:
“Not even the most biased of historians would endeavor to call this parched land a paradise. Most of the country is a desert, and the little soil that departs from that description has too few nutrients to sustain the raising of crops. Its lack of natural resources is the primary reason this country is currently at war with neighboring Resulia.”
Next is a character spotlight on Emerson, one of the party members of Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness. He is an archer-type character who is always looking for the most exquisite liquor and eligible women. However, when tough times come, he rises to the occasion and becomes a man of action.
Square Enix have also released a character spotlight on Anna. Who seems like a cold warrior turns into a kind hearted soul with a love for cats. Square Enix state in the video description, “her love of cats burns brighter than multiple systems’ stars.” Man, she loves cats!
Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness is releasing on June 28th for PlayStation 4. A collector’s edition has also been announced. It will include a Collector’s Edition box, a Pangolactic Federation ID Card, Collector’s Edition Steelbook, Exclusive Art Cards, an artbook entitled “The Art of Star Ocean,” a soundtrack called “The Sounds of Star Ocean,” in-game DLC (The Ring of the Valkyries, Gold Bunny Statue, Bushybrume
Cincture, Wristlet of the Stars and the Secret Sthalian Tome), and optional background music from the Valkyrie Profile and Star Ocean series. Day One purchasers of the game will also get the in-game DLC and optional background music from Valkyrie Profile.
