Maya Returns In Killer Instinct
Microsoft has revealed that Amazonian warrior Maya will be the latest fighter to return to Killer Instinct. The latest build of the game shows off the additions made for the second season. As well as Maya and her stage City of Dawn, season 2 of Killer Instinct will also add T.J. Combo and make major changes to the game’s UI. In thenTGS 2014 trailer, Maya looks to still have her twin blades and speedy move set. She is the first character in the 2013 reboot to come from Killer Instinct 2.

Xbox One Exclusive D4 Releasing Today
Directore Hidetaka Suehiro has surprised gamers with an announcement that his next project, D4, will be releasing today. The digital only release will feature the prologue and the first two episodes of the game, with more episodes to follow in the future. It will be priced at $14.99.
D4, which stands for “Dark Dreams Don’t Die”, is a murder investigation game in which a psychological trauma has given the protagonist time travelling powers. The project is being developed by Access Games, a studio who rose to prominence in 2010 with the weird yet wonderful Deadly Premonition. Fans of that game will most likely find a lot to like in Suehiro’s latest title.

Raiden V Spotted At Microsoft Booth
The Xbox One may be selling appallingly in Japan but that doesn’t mean Microsoft has given up. The publisher has a booth at this year’s Tokyo Game Show where they are showing off a number of Japanese focused titles. One of these is Raiden V, the next game in the vertical scrolling shooter franchise. Developed by MOSS since 2005, the series has a close relationship with Microsoft with Raiden IV being an Xbox 360 console exclusive. It is rumored that this latest instalment is only in development for arcades and Xbox One but this is not yet confirmed.

Bloodborne Collector’s Edition Detailed
Sony has revealed their release plans for From Studio’s upcoming PS4 exclusive. The Bloodborne Collector’s Edition will come with a copy of the game and a premium concept art book in a special Steelbook case. It will also include a digital version of the game’s entire soundtrack by composer Michael Wandmacher. Directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, creator of Demon Souls and Dark Souls, Bloodborne is a highly anticipated action game that was announced at Sony’s E3 2014 press conference. The title’s TGS trailer, called The Hunt Begins, can be seen above.
The Bloodborne Collector’s Edition will be released on February 6 2015 and costs$79.99. There will only be a limited number available so you may wish to pre-order.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Dated for PS4, Xbox One
Final Fantasy’s most elusive entry, Type-0, has always seemed to escape its manifest destiny of an international release at every turn, or at least in forlorn fans’ minds. Now, we finally have one.
Square Enix has now announced the HD remaster of Final Fantasy Type-0 coming to PS4 and Xbox One this past E3. Previously exclusive to Japan and the PSP, the game will be fully translated in English on a PS4 or Xbox One in all its 1080p glory.
Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will release on March 17th in North America and two days later in Japan on March 19th, and March 20th in Europe. As an added bonus, it will include a voucher for Episode Duscae, the downloadable Final Fantasy XV demo.
Type 0 tells the story of 14 students (Class 0) who are endowed with special abilities and are soon drawn into a war between the Milites Empire and the Dominion of Rubrum. Type-0 is noted as the darkest Final Fantasy to date, and recently the company was rumored to have renewed and registered rights to a Type 0-2.
