Yet another week has ended, which means two things: 1) We’re one week closer to the release of next-gen systems (who’s excited) and 2) another entry of the Weekly Wrap-Up is coming your way. Below, you’ll find brief summaries of our top 5 stories from this week, as well as a few stories that were interesting, but weren’t quite that big to make the cut. Gamers Discover Game Breaking Bug In Newly Released Pokemon X & Y
Gamers have been reporting that they have discovered a game breaking bug in Pokemon X and Pokemon Y which, according to reports online, can only be solved by gamers deleting their game save and starting their adventure all over again.
The issue has been found in the in-game city, Lumiose City. If a gamer saves their game in this area than, if online reports are to be believed, Nintendo 3DS systems become unresponsive when trying to load the file.
This particular bug has only been found in European and Japanese versions of the game currently.
Watch Dogs Delayed Until Spring 2014
Watch Dogs has been delayed and will not be making its original launch date, Ubisoft has announced, and will now be coming out sometime during Spring of 2014.
In a statement posted to the Ubisoft Blog, the Watch Dogs dev teams had the following to say:
Our ambition from the start with Watch Dogs has been to deliver something that embodies what we wanted to see in the next-generation of gaming. It is with this in mind that we’ve made the tough decision to delay the release until spring 2014.
We know a lot of you are probably wondering: Why now? We struggled with whether we would delay the game. But from the beginning, we have adopted the attitude that we will not compromise on quality. As we got closer to release, as all the pieces of the puzzle were falling into place in our last push before completion, it became clear to us that we needed to take the extra time to polish and fine tune each detail so we can deliver a truly memorable and exceptional experience.

A demo of the PS4 version of the game will be playable at BlizzCon (Nov 8th and 9th) in both single-player and co-op forms and will have players exploring the haunted streets of Westmarch as one of our five original classes or the recently revealed Crusader. The DualShock 4 controller is said to utilize the touch screen to keep players out of the menus and keep their monster killing momentum going.
