Volume 2 of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess‘ manga adaptation from VIZ Media has received a release date and cover art. The book will be releasing on August 8th, 2017.
This manga series is based on the GameCube and Wii Zelda title and features the story of Link and Midna. The series gives more of a background on the game and has Link talking! Gasp! Link and company must find the shards of the Shadow Crystal and protect Midna, the Princess of the Twilight Realm to save Hyrule from an evil force.
The Legend of Zelda has been adapted many times into manga. So far, Ocarina of Time, Majora’s Mask, Four Swords, The Minish Cap, A Link to the Past (from previous comics), Phantom Hourglass, Oracle of Ages, Oracle of Seasons, and The Wind Waker have been made. More recent titles, such as Skyward Sword and Breath of the Wild, have not yet received adaptations.
VIZ Media recently announced that they are publishing Splatoon‘s manga series, which will come out later this year. According to the press release, “Four Inklings who can transform between humanoid and squid-like forms get caught up in a Splatoon Turf War that launches them into amazing adventures!”
