If you’re still playing Dragon Age: Inquisition‘s DLC, then don’t expect anymore of it on last-gen consoles. EA and Bioware have officially announced that no more DLC for the game’s going to be hitting Playstation 3 or Xbox 360.
Instead, the studios have released new details on a new feature, dubbed the “Save Importer” that’ll allow you to “migrate your old saves, and continue your adventure without starting over from scratch” on your Xbox One or Playstation 4.
“All future Dragon Age: Inquisition DLC will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One only,” the developers said, “so we designed our Save Importer feature to help make the transition to a new console as easy as possible.”
Continuing, they discussed that with the Save Importer, players can migrate old saves and “continue your adventure without starting over from scratch.”
Along with a full FAQ, Bioware supplied a step-by-step guide on how to export and import from your PS3 to PS4 or from Xbox 360 to Xbox One. You can import your single-player progress as many times as you want, but you can only import your multiplayer progress one time and one time only.
Any DLC you’ve already bought on your old console will be automatically transferred to your new one within the PS or Xbox family.
In the meantime, it’s unknown whether this announcement is any indication of future franchise entries leaving last-gen consoles as a whole.
